Credits to audio: the only math you need

• 1 credit ≈ 1 character on the standard models (Eleven v3, Multilingual v2).
• ~1,000 characters ≈ 1 minute of spoken audio — narration is roughly 800–900 characters per minute at natural pace.
• 100,000 credits ≈ 100 minutes of generated speech, about 1 hour 40 minutes of narration.

So "how many videos can I make?" is a division problem, not a fixed number. Divide your total voiceover minutes into 100: 10 minutes of voiceover per video → ~10 videos; 8 minutes → ~12 videos; 5 minutes → ~20 videos. Count the characters in your script, not the video's total runtime — silent b-roll, music beds and text on screen cost nothing.

Two billing facts most people miss: annual billing costs ten months' price for twelve, and on paid plans unused credits roll over for up to two months (up to 3× your quota) — free-plan credits don't. If your usage is bursty, buy a higher tier for a single month rather than upgrading permanently.

What drains credits fastest (it's not narration)

One credit pool pays for everything — and narration is the cheapest thing in it. The real drains: dubbing a video (a 10-minute dub can eat a Creator plan's entire month), speech-to-text (~330 credits per minute), music (~900 credits per minute), and sound effects (200 per generation). Budget dubbing as a separate line item or it will surprise you.

The cheapest legit lever is the model selector: Flash/Turbo models cost about half the credits per character as the flagship models, with little audible difference on most voices. Draft and iterate on Flash, render final narration on the flagship — the same 100k credits stretch to roughly double the audio.

So, how many videos?

• Faceless YouTube (8–10 min voiceover/video): ~10–12 videos per 100k credits.
• Shorts/TikTok (1–2 min voiceover/video): ~50–100 shorts.
• Course narration (full lessons): ~100 minutes total — e.g. ten 10-minute lessons.
• Audiobook: ~100 minutes — a short novel fits; a full-length book needs the Creator tier or multiple packs.
